With most couples already living together when they get married, are Gift Lists still used or is the new normal to give a gift of money?
Most of our couples hire our wedding post boxes because they are secure, meaning any cards with monetary gifts inside, are safe and sound until they empty it at night. But it did get me wondering if a traditional gift list is still useful?
I remember when we got married in 2014, looking at Debenham's and John Lewis and considering their wedding gift services. With Debenham's not on the high Street anymore, options are even more limited, although I did stumble across a wedding gift list through amazon.
It's actually a great idea because you can literally buy anything from amazon and often cheaper than high street shops. You might be lining amazon's pockets further but there are hundreds & hundreds of small businesses that use amazon to sell on & you won't find anywhere else with the same choice.
